Movie administrator Jessie Henderson has recently entered Apple Studios joining in its feature section. Henderson was previously at HBO Max, the well-known stand-alone streaming platform, and had made a name for herself running at Feigco’s.
- Apple was in the mindset of expanding its film team and the addition of Henderson came as a boon from the heavens above along with Lejo Pet, who has recently joined Apple from Paramount Pictures. Henderson, who worked previously at HBO Max as Executive VP, will be reporting to Apple Original Film’s Head of features Matt Dentler in Los Angeles.
- Henderson would bring with her boundless development and production experience. Before her work at HBO Max, Henderson had worked at Chernin Entertainment where she co-produced “The Heat”, the successful parody starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy.
- Jessie had received her bachelor s degree in Media Studies from Emerson College. She had also served as co-president at Feigo along with Paul Feig where she presented film and television projects including the world-famous Spy, A simple favor, Someone Great, the all-female Ghostbusters, and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.
- Her approach at Apple came at a blooming time for the studio. The company is known to come off of Oscar proposals for its animated film, WolfWalker, and celebrated for its dramedy On the rocks. It is heard that Apple is also gearing up for its next project to shoot Martin Scorsese’s Killer of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo di Caprio shortly.
